Dropping off film
The whole ritual takes five minutes at the counter. Here is exactly what happens, so nothing surprises you.
Bag the rolls
Film goes in a small bag or the canister it came in. A rolled strip in a pocket is how scratches happen.
Write your push notes
Pushed or pulled speed goes on the canister in pencil or on the intake form. The scanner reads what we write, not what we guess.
Fill a bench ticket
At the counter: name, phone, service, and whether you want contact sheets. Takes two minutes.
Choose your scans
Standard set covers every frame. Selective scans go large on your best three to five.
Get your stub
The ticket stub has your roll number. Pickup is a name at the counter, and the shelf keeps rolls for thirty days.

While you wait
There is coffee two doors down and a bench outside with a harbor view. Scans land by email the day they finish; prints need a person to hand them over, so they wait for you at the counter.

Mail-in works on the same ticket system. Include the form from the counter page, your return address, and payment preference. Rolls travel best in a padded mailer, canisters on.
Reminder: this is a fictional lab on a demonstration site. The hours, the address, and the turnaround times are invented.
